Upp works fine under Win XP and Vista

Having problems with Ubuntu 10.04b installing Upp

I download the --.tar.gz and Extract
cd to the Extracted dir
make then make install as per readme

No theide
I tried this with 2248 and twice with 2253.

What am I missing or have done wrong?

edit: deleted the printout, it made the page too wide.

You do not have C++ compiler installed Smile

You have to install some more packages in Synaptic - I think g++ and libnotify-dev should do the trick.

Or you can download nightly build from lp.

Thanks Mirek, g++ and libnotify-dev worked, I was able to run theide and an example.

Is there a document, link or thread that explains "download nightly build from lp"?
