Stable releases interval [message #28895] Fri, 24 September 2010 12:56 Go to next message

Hi,

I was just wondering if the stable releases cycle has intentionally been extended significantly...? There has not been a stable release in more than three months now.

(I'm not saying, I could or would not dare to use nightly SVN builds, but stable releases have been a convenient way to keep up with the current development efforts without taking unnecessary risk in using a 'in middle of something' version for production. I for one certainly don't know when is the right time to take a nightly build to be used in production.)

Best regards,

Tom

Hello Tom1

You are right. This long delay has been caused because of temporal reasons.

I think that from the middle of October we will recover the usual announcements frequency.

Best regards
