Hello ratah

It is rather straightforward.

Which OS do you use (XP, Vista, ...)?

Best regards

Hi,
Yes, but i want to do it programmatically. In windows registry perhaps i can do something like HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/....
key1 ; value1 = "icon1.ico";
key2 ; value2 = "icon2.ico";

i never do that that it's a idea.

Hello Ratah

This link looks very good:

http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=3946

It:
- Creates a registry key for your application
- Registers your file type
- Registers the command that has to be executed when the file type is double clicked in Windows Explorer
- Adds a reference to the icon.

In addition U++ function SetWinRegString() (not documented yet) will help you a lot.

Best regards
Iñaki
