Hye,

After updating my upp installation, from 4726 to 4746, I got this error message while building theIDE:

upp\uppsrc\web\ssl\WebSSL.h((8) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'openssl/ssl.h': No such file or directory

Does this mean you have to install OpenSSL separately? It might be a good idea to include this in uppsrc/plugin

Best regards,

frank

No, sorry, a bug, this is unfortunate consequence of refactoring Socket (to TcpSocket)... there will be increased probability of issues like this until job is finished...

No problem; I always keep a few backups of my existing installation so it is always easy to switch back.
I just wanted to report it.
Nevertheless, it might indeed be a good idea to include openssl as a plugin. Personally, I have bad experiences in building it separately as it is quite cumbersome and labour intensive.

Unfortunately, OpenSSL is about 2000 files to compile. Too big for plugin.

That is OK. Obsoleted and removed. Still supported, but you need to get those from svn.
