A debian repository for U++ nightily and release builds are up. Thanks to dolik.rce providing the packages. The repo currently supports Debian stable, unstable and testing distros for i386 and amd64 archs.

For the latest U++ Nightly builds follow these instructions.

For the latest U++ Release builds follow these instructions.

If you are using Ubuntu/derivatives, better use the ubuntu PPAs.

(-Nope, still down.-)

(Thx for your work anyway:)

edit: It _was_ my ISP's fault; I've changed my resolve.conf and dhclient.conf to make use of google's public dns servers and now everything is working as it should. The changes should prevent my ISP's laxity from causing hassles again.

Thanks, the repo is hugely appreciated.

Hello,

I see that the current release version is 5485 and the nightly is right now at 5717.

But on the repository I can only see 5481 or nothing..

I am on Debian wheezy.
Trying to get the release version from the repository fails with an internal server error.
Trying to get nightly succeeds - but the version stays on 5481.

Is there something wrong? Anything I could possibly do wrong?

Thanks! To have a debian repository is great, it was one reason why I started to use U++..

Hi frozen,

Welcome to the forum Cool

It seems that something broke in the scripts that build and upload the packages to the repository. I'll check and repair it ASAP. Thanks for reporting this issue.

Best regards,
Honza

Hi Honza!

Thank you very much - for the welcome and for the fix.. Wink

Best regards,

frozen

Edit:
Today I received the nightly from the repository. Did I say that this Synchronize-Tool is a pain in the a**? Very Happy Thanks for the fast fix!

Cannot upgrade:

1. The repo at http://upp.invothink.com/nightly/ seems to be empty.
I'm using wheezy amd64

2. The links to the instructions seems to be broken ("Internal server error")

Can anyone help?

Hi slashupp,

It seems that the packages were not correctly uploaded to the server for some reason. Unfortunately, I have no idea why or since when it doesn't work. I just re-run the same script that is doing it everyday and it seems to work now. The packages should be up in few minutes.

Regarding the broken links: I'm not sure why, but the 500 Internal error is returned by the server when the file is not found, I guess it is slightly misconfigured Smile

Best regards,
Honza
