Hello!
Is there a way to check all "Install New" check boxes at once when updating U++ in the IDE?

This feature is a must have because there are too many check boxes.

Thanks

What check boxes are you referring to?

I just rename the upp directory to whatever version # it is.
Then download the latest version and click the .exe file.

The only 'check boxes' is for the build methods which is usually automatic.

This is on Win.

Your post does not indicate which boxes you are referring to.

I think that problem is Linux only.

Let me explain better:
When you update U++ on Ubuntu, you have to copy the source files to your home.

But you have to manually tick each box of file you want to upgrade or leave unckecked if you want to keep the old file.

This dialog desperately needs a check all/uncheck all option.

Hi lectus,

I'll have a look at it.

It is actually very specific, as it only affects those linux users who have the sources installed from a package and who do have the source management set to "local copy" mode Smile

If you have many changes in your local copy of the sources, you might actually want to start using svn, it is better with resolving the conflicts Wink

I must be getting old or something... Shocked This feature was already requested and I already implemented it.

All you have to do is right-click on the update dialog, the context menu contains the functionality you need and even more.

It is actually even mentioned in documentation Smile

Best regards,
Honza
