To take advantage of all the formating and data processing features of gnuplot I am spawning it from from my u++ application. Running gnuplot from the command line it processes the mouse clicks to zoom and place lables. The spawned version accepts keystrokes but not the mouse clicks.

How does one change the order of which window processes the mouse events, or is there some special setting to pass the mouse commands along?
