I have a drop grid that lists modes for Amateur Radio. There are many modes. Most a user will never use, thus, each mode has a flag, FAVORITE. So, when populating the drop grid, I put the FAVORITE modes first and also use the trick I found in the forum of using Attr("Mode").Paper(...) giving it a different background color.

This works great for display, however, when I start typing in the mode drop grid (not expanded) it never selects or highlights any of the FAVORITE modes. I am assuming this is because of the QTF codes that must be in the display portion of the widget.

Any ideas on how I can cause the FAVORITE modes stand out w/o having this problem?

Thanks,

Jeremy
