When debugging a console apps in Linux, ide now launches separate console for the application to provide its input/output (while communicating with gdb using different path).

Note that some versions of gdb report

&"warning: GDB: Failed to set controlling terminal: Operation not permitted\n"

in the console. This seems to be a bug in gdb (just google it...) and is basically harmless, everything else seems to be working just fine.
