Redmine Bug #2152 (Ready for QA): No MyApps assembly after fresh installation on Linuxhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/21522021-03-10T20:59:07ZZbigniew Rebacz

Just make clean installation and check if MyApps assembly is present after installation inside TheIDE package manager window.
Task #2074 (New): macOS toolbar should support application name approchhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/20742020-09-21T10:43:00ZZbigniew Rebacz

On the mac in global menu bar application name is displayed like "Chrome", "Finder". Only U++ application doesn't support such feature (TheIDE).

The main goal of this task is to add support (on the CtrlLib level). So instead of about in help, I would like to have "TheIDE" -> "About" on macOS.

Would be nice if it will be in 2020.2.
Task #1934 (New): Flatpack supporthttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/19342019-03-01T10:54:14ZZbigniew Rebacz

We should move towards flatpack support on GNU/Linux operating system like instead of investing our time to create packages for each distribution.

Optimally the upp package should be present on https://flathub.org/home
Documentation #1717 (New): Create "Build method" settings detailed documentationhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/17172017-05-12T19:54:18ZZbigniew Rebacz

All "Build methods" layout ide options should be written in separate article site.
Bug #1665 (New): Remove dependency of using shorts file name in GccBuilderhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/16652017-03-26T19:34:55ZZbigniew Rebacz

Currentl, GccBuilder when dealing with .rc file is using short file name for windows. This is problematic, because partitions can not support that feature - and it means that the .rc feature stops working. It only happens when file has got space in the name, so impact is low - and c partition seems to not be affected.

More information in discussion on the forum: http://www.ultimatepp.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=47791&#msg_47791

I am certain sure that if we manage to deal with that problem we will be able to remove all methods that generates short cuts.
Bug #1623 (New): Resolve problem with Android build method name and compilation flaghttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/16232017-01-28T18:34:42ZZbigniew Rebacz

As I notice we passed build method as flag to the build process. The same we do with cross compilation flag. The main goal of this task is to rename "ANDROID" build method to something else like "ANDROID_BUILDER" etc.
Feature #1473 (New): Dbus support for linuxhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/14732016-06-20T18:18:11ZZbigniew Rebacz

I think we should wrapp Dbus API.
Feature #1433 (New): Syntax highlight for Objective-Chttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/14332016-04-26T20:49:07ZZbigniew Rebacz

Support objective-c highlight in minimal way. What to do with .m and .mm files?
Bug #1303 (New): Improve Android Builder outputhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/13032015-10-23T18:53:26ZZbigniew Rebacz

In current ndk implementation there are three version of gnu-libstdc++: 4.6, 4.7 and 4.9; It should be some kind of algorithm to detect the best fitted version.

Currently path generation process looks like this:

String versionsDir = nest + "gnu-libstdc++";
return nest + "gnu-libstdc++" + DIR_SEPS + "4.6" + DIR_SEPS + "include";

Feature #1204 (New): Add NDK platform detectionhttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/12042015-07-26T14:18:22ZZbigniew Rebacz

NDK can posses different platform than SDK. Probably if platform is wrongly defined the latest platform is used.

NDK platform selection can be implemented in build method android layout.
Feature #1182 (New): Add logcat supporthttps://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/11822015-07-12T14:17:54ZZbigniew Rebacz
