- External contributors (anyone) can send svn diff (better for trunk) or just diff. They send them via the mailing list, the bug tracker or via email if any.

Well, this is pretty much how it worked here and will work. The only problem is that there were only 3 trusted contributors and we have outgrown it....

BTW, this is also one of reasons why doxygen comments are not viable option... (but there is something possibly even better coming).
