Unicode chars in Fedora rawhide [message #19198]

Hello,

I have installed new Fedora rawhide and when I wanted to write a czech char with caron to source file in the IDE nothing happened. So I modify X11Proc.cpp to allow unicode chars - see attached file. It works for me fine.

Is it possible to change this file like this?

Interesting indeed, I would expect the "xic" variant to be triggered - at least that is what happens on ubuntu (it works there).

Anyway, patch applied.

But this patch doesn't solve problem with shifted caron i.e. "�". This patch have solved only single keyboard chars.
I have to find why "xic" variant doesn't be triggered.

I've instaled scim to Fedora and unicode chars starts to work. "xic" is triggered and Xutf8LookupString is used.
