Hello,
I have installed new Fedora rawhide and when I wanted to write a czech char with caron to source file in the IDE nothing happened. So I modify X11Proc.cpp to allow unicode chars - see attached file. It works for me fine.
Is it possible to change this file like this?

Anyway, patch applied.

But this patch doesn't solve problem with shifted caron i.e. "ù". This patch have solved only single keyboard chars.
I have to find why "xic" variant doesn't be triggered.

I've instaled scim to Fedora and unicode chars starts to work. "xic" is triggered and Xutf8LookupString is used.
