Hm, the purpose of that thing is to make theide 'visible' - otherwise it would be left somewhere in uppsrc/ide.out, which is far from apparent place, not very "Makish".

Anyway, maybe we should change that to

cp uppsrc/ide.out ./theide

and put

cp ./theide ~/theide

to the doinstall?
