hi
I am trying to build testscatter2 example with ubuntu version 12.04 and u++ version 7031 and i am facing following error

" /root/upp/bazaar/Scatter/Scatter.cpp:1181:42: error: ‘X11Cursor’ was not declared in this scope"

Please help me fix this problem

Hi varu,

That sounds as if Scatter package depended on some X11 internal stuff which is not present in GTK backend, which is now default.

You can try to build the app with X11 flag for now, that should make it work.

Hello Varu

TestScatter2 is deprecated. There is a similar package in U++ that you can try with package Examples/ScatterCtrl_Demo. See this.

It's quite simple: Just go to Project > Main package configuration and change "GUI" to "GUI X11". Then build it as usually.
