With TheIDE configured to use MSC 10 I can't linked when trying to compile TheIDE in either release or debug mode:

LINK: fatal error LNK1123: failure during conversion to COFF: file invalid or corrupt

Perhaps some object file got broken. Have you tried "rebuild all"?
