Hello nlneilson,

In last release (2015.2) we improved TheIDE by adding button to switch between text/designer/hex view. You can find it near navigation icon (TheIDE toolbar).

This is the list of the options:
- Edit as text
- Edit using designer
- Edit as hex

Icons:
index.php?t=getfile&id=5019&private=0

index.php?t=getfile&id=5019&private=0

To switch to text mode just select first icon.
