Hi Mirek,

1. What is the current estimated timeframe for 611 release? (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, 9 months).

2. Are the Chameleon features still planned to be complete for 611 release (on XP)?

3. Vista will apparently have lots of transparency/see-through on windows, controls, etc. Considering U++ is anti-native widget set, will this be possible to easily implement with your Chameleon features?

4. Have you started any OSX implementation, even on your private system?

Thanks.

1. 611 -> 11/2006. If we are not able to do it in that time, it will not be 611 (but e.g. 612...)

2. Chameleon/XP can be considered complete now. There might be improvements over time, but current level of "chameleonization" at least matches the one in Firefox or Openoffice. Download latest dev version to check it out. Report any problems - you can consider any difference from normal XP look as problem.

3. I hope that it will not be a problem, because all those nice effects are running on another level (internals of windows have single alpha). I believe that dev version would look native in Vista even now (but I have not checked yet - would be nice if somebody does).

4. Sorry, no. We are starting a work on PocketPC now Sad

Mirek
