It should not be present in toolbar. What really happens depends on DE.

I have so far only tested with MATE and LXDE. In both of these systems, TheIDE immediately appears in the menu, with proper icon.

I will write to docs something like "not guaranteed to work".

That said I will investigate the icon situation....
