It's well known that I don't mind acknowledging my mistakes, but don't put all the blame on me either. 
When I proposed these new features in TabBar, I found many bugs, not evident using TheIDE, but relevant for other applications.
I'm not the TabBar maintainer, and don't know it well, but I tried my best solving them in the minimum time.
Surprisingly the changes were accepted  , and I didn't realize that a change that didn't affect me affected TheIDE.
I'm sorry!
Mirek, as I told you before, I offer to maintain TabBar. I assure you that I'll be more careful.
