Testing several versions of TheIDE I noticed that they are not respecting the sandbox as described here U++ POSIX Installation, they are creating and writing to ~/.config/u++ what makes not possible to have more than one IDE running and all of then will search for package in what the first one wrote to ~/.config/u++ folder.

Hi,

have you created .config and .cache folders in the directory where is theide?

Default installation has these folders. theide looks for them, if it does not found these, goes up directory tree trying to find them, if not found, uses ~/.config ~/.cache. Or I believe it should work this way... Smile
