UVS has its limits and extending it to be competitive to SVN is not a good idea imo. However it has two important advantages:
- it doesn't need a server - you can use any ftp to store your sources
- it's very very simple

Anyway - the future is integration with SVN
Pros:
- new features will come for free Wink
- it is tested for many, many users
- it's quite simple to use from cmd
- it will be a great plus for upp project.
Cons:
- .svn subdirectories everywhere Wink

PS: What about GIT instead of SVN? Any experiences with it? QGIT looks great: http://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=1398 97
