It should not reflect GUI. GUI is just one of problem areas U++ tries to solve. We have deployed e.g. a couple of U++ webserver applications, or look at uld (COFF linker).

I guess the real aim is "to use C++ in a new way to solve the old problems" or something like that, while "problems" are not limited to GUI.
