I think I still not understand clearly how to specify
include paths for the compiler to pick in the ide.
Is it only through the assembly definition ?

Have you tried to click the menu:
Setup->
  Build methods...

?
And have you seen in that window ArrayCtrl(I guess) with
INCLUDE - directories for include files

?
