is it possible to increase the spacing between radio buttons in a Switch control?

Not at the moment.
Maybe you can use Option modified by SwitchImage method to get what you want.

I attach a patch for the main library, to add SetMinSpacing/GetMinSpacing to the Switch control, to allow setting the minimum spacing between radio buttons.
I hope it can be helpful.

Putting it to uppsrc. Only renamed to
Switch& Switch::MinCaseHeight(int cy)
