I'd like to know if there is a feature in TheIDE to automatically run your program after compiling? Or do you have to open "output directory" in "build" menu and then find your program?

There is "Execute" command in Build menu (Ctrl+F5). It performs necessary compilation if things are not up to date.

There is also "Run (in debugger)" (F5) - virtually the same, just it is run in debugger.
