Well, today I had this ugly idea how to solve the venerable issue:

Maybe theide could convert the when saveing/loading, replacing non-ASCII characters with escape sequences (and back).

Maybe, if stupid MSC allows, we could add comments in the process with original strings.

This is extremely ugly and would harden the dependence of sources on theide, but it is the first solution that I think is viable.

Could somebody test whether CJK windows MSC compiler allows utf-8 characters in comments please?

I test it for vs2008,MSC is allows UTF-8 char in comments.
