faster switching between packages if Assist++ off?

when I change main package or after uppDlg I have to wait until, I guess, Assist++ digests some files. That annoys me. What if I want just to have a quick look into another package file?

You can switch off automatic Assist++ in settings.

But you need to restart TheIDE to have that setting working which is even worse...
