Great. Would you like to upload it to sf.net?

PM me your sf.net username first, please.

However, think carefuly, this means you are taking over Linux releases! Wink

Anyhow before uploading to sf.net, have u tried to install it yourself? Is it working ? I mean both src.tar.bz2 and .deb version.

I want to know whether it is working or not.

By the way, my username in sf.net is "freetogo"

Actually, I do not even know how Smile But I am also not relevant.

I hope that real experienced linux users will test and report problems. This is dev version, designed to reveal them.

Sorry for taking so long, I was out for weekend and then sf.net simply was refusing to work.

You should now be able to do file-releases on upp.sf.net.

I converted the deb package to rpm using alien (contained in SUSE distribution) and it installed and worked without any problems. The commands are:

alien --to-rpm --keep-version upp_608-dev-1_i386.deb

followed by:

rpm -ivh upp. . . . . .rpm

take care to list the directory before the rpm command because alien makes small changes to the package name which are easily overlooked.

Hope this helps someone.

Regards
Richard
