Is it possible to debug application using the IDE which needs to be executed with root privileges?
Thanks, Radek

Yes, it is possible. But you have to create new installation for the root user (setup assembly, packages, build, ...).
I guess that is the best approach. I am pretty sure that non-root debugger will not be able to debug root process...
Rather, I was thinking about sudo support - that is, option to running a debugger with sudo (confirm with a password if necessary, if required by the system). And kill the debug with sudo if necessary.
