Hello,

I don't know U ++. I work with Lazarus and Qt and sometimes FireMonkey. My compilation targets are windows 64, linux 64 and mac OS Intel and ARM. I need 3 specificities that are essential for my developments :

- statically linked access to MariaDB [I do not distribute mariadB libraries]
- management and display of HTML in grids [arrayCtrl?]
- generation of pdf documents from project code

Do theIDE and U ++ allow this ?
Thank you. Regards. Gilles

Hi Gilles,

1. I am not sure about static linking and related license issues for MariaDB.
2. HTML not possible but you can use alternate forms.
MD - Mark Down
QTF - This is internal format of U++
3. You can generate PDF. Report generation quite powerful with some learning curve.

Warm Regards

Deepak

Hello Gilles,

Satic linking is no problem as long as you have the right lib for MariaDB
But, just in case : if you deliver you're app with staticly linked mariadb connecter... then you're code is contaminated by mariaDB's licence Sad
