Hi, U++ works great for me at home, and in linux at work with the exception that the clipboard doesn't seem to work properly - I couldn't paste text copied from the build output pane into other windows (well, Firefox, which isn't gnome, but... anyway).

Is this some kind of configuration issue, or a known problem?

This was with v607-dev1, I think...

BTW, it might sound weird, but have you checked this with some non-U++ app?

I ask before I had big problems in previous (I mean, the one before the current) FireFox and clipboard in Win32 (not U++ related).

Yeah, other applications work fine (although I have had non-U++ related clipboard problems before with Gnome, and with KDE on my laptop - if you copy something from one window, close that program and go to paste it somewhere else, the clipboard will have been cleared, which is annoying. This also happens with fox-toolkit apps by design, I think).

I didn't try pasting from Firefox (or elsewhere) -into- theide though. In fact, it's not only firefox - I tried pasting into gnome-terminal too and saw that the buffer was empty somehow.

is that problem solved?
I have the same Problem here, copy and paste doesn't work from and to theIDE, but from and to firefox with other apps like xterm.

The System i am Using is Ubuntu Linux 2.6, with x.org and fluxbox as windowmanager.

thanks for any ideas,
Bas

U++ Version?

Everything seems to work OK for me now with latest Ubuntu.

Well, there were fixes since then. I hope it works OK (or much better..) now.

thanks,
just downloaded 610-dev2, but the Makefile for theIDE seems to be outdated.

At least it asks for Files (eg Draw/PixelArray.h) which aren't included in the uppsrc (and also not listed in the Draw.upp File).
