A note on config files : if you did run previous svn version, after build you should move some config file around to have all work (Linux version, don't know on windows).
So :

1) DON'T run theide devel (you can, but it won't find config files)
2) Create manually a folder called .upp in your home dir (mkdir ~/.upp); pay attention to the dot !
3) Move the '.ide' folder in your home dir inside .upp one (leave the .theide folder as it is, that's for the stable upp)
4) rename it as 'ide' (just strip the initial dot)

That's all, running theide devel should bring your configs back as usual.
