QtfCtrl seems to be an issue.

You can compile the example by modifying main.cpp

line 71:
RichTextCtrl qtf;

line 262:
qtf = comptext;

Not sure if RichTextCtrl is the right Ctrl to use (RichTextView is an other option) but at least it works.
