I'm quite content with using git-cola in second windows, but one thing would be very nice for me.

"Annotate" (called "blame" few years back Smile

) on current tab, so every line would have line number on left with color-per-commit + commint author, and on mouse hover the commit message would be displayed (I like the look of this feature in Android Studio (IntelliJ based)).
